Deep Tissue Massage Deep Tissue is directed at the fascia, muscles and tissues located much deeper beneath the skin. While this type of massage is related to Swedish massage it also utilizes adapted strokes and techniques to access those deeper tissues to release tension and adhesions. This popular massage can be more intense than a Swedish Massage and the amount of pressure should be communicated between therapist and client.
